Berkayuh

Bila sampai sana tayar basikal pulak tak cukup angin..pam bawak tapi tak berapa nak berfungsi elok. Angin masuk sikit-sikit ajer. Berpeluh jugakla dibuatnya.

Pukul 7.40 pagi baru mula cycling. Masa tu baru cuba through try & error, tukar gear masa turun bukit dan naik bukit. Ni belajar dengan cara susah-lah ni. Masa keluar toll Putrajaya lalu ikut laluan motosikal. So kaki ayam kejap BUT something bad happened. Ibu bjari kaki kiri tergesel atas tar, terkoyak dan berdarah. Oh God, how to put on my shoe with this bleeding toe. I asked my wife to go to the toll plaza and seek some plasters or whatever. She managed to get some from a policeman yang kebetulan ada di toll building. He advised to be us to be very careful because two weeks before a man just got hit by a car while on MEX highway.

After that we continued our cycling to Putrajaya, Precint 7 specifically. We had our breakfast there before headed back to R&R Seri Kembangan.

Lessons learnt:

1. Make sure your pump is in a good working condition or pump at home!;

2. Always bring your first aid kit; and
3. Always with your cycling gears like helmet, shoes and gloves.

It's done for that day. Next day there will be another cycling at the same place.

Halal Journey in Geneve... the Halal Meat

As I mentioned in an earlier post, there are many Halal restaurants available in Geneve.  This is due to a very large Muslim community here be it expatriates, visitors or the local population.  In fact, if you walk anywhere in Geneve center, you will always encounter many Muslims especially women wearing Hijab.  Today, I will be sharing with you where to find Halal food ingredients (later I will share about restaurants).  Boucheries: for chicken (poulet), beef (beouf) and related products 1. On a footed destiny…

“The foot feels the foot when it feels the ground.” Buddha quotes (Hindu Prince Gautama Siddharta, the founder of Buddhism, 563-483 B.C.) --> “Patah kaki” literally described us when we started our life in Versoix. The mode of transport was a 10-minute walk to the nearest bus stop called Les Fayards. From there, we have to take a TPG (Transport Public Genevois) bus which operates almost every hour to Geneva. The journey on the V-bus would take us around 50 minutes along the countryside, down the lane and up the hill, passing by monuments, the Red Crescent HQ, the UN place and homes. --> It was winter and a 10-minute walk could feel like forever with the cold frigid wind blow against you. I could not imagine hubby going out early in the morning, walking towards the bus stop and waiting for the bus in the winter season. Sometimes, he had to brace the thick snow or the slippery black ice along the road. From his office, another 10 minutes walk to the nearest bus st
